HOW THE AI RAP GENERATOR WORKS

RapCrafter turns one sentence into a rap song with vocals and a beat. You describe the idea, choose how it should sound, and the generator writes rhyming lyrics and performs them over a track.

1. Describe your topic in one line

You get up to 500 characters. A person, a place or a habit works better than a broad theme: "my roommate never washes the dishes" gives the AI jokes to build on, while "friendship" leaves it guessing.

2. Choose a beat and a mood

Pick one of four beats (boom bap, drill, trap or freestyle) and one of three moods (confident, funny or reflective). The beat sets the rhythm of the verses; the mood sets the attitude of the lines.

3. Get two versions of your song

Each song request returns two versions with vocals and a beat, so you can keep the take you like. If you would rather check the words before they are sung, choose to write the lyrics first and edit them. Generation is not open yet; the generator above collects your email in the meantime.

FOUR BEATS, FOUR KINDS OF RAP

Every example on this page was made with one of these settings. Play the matching preview to hear the difference before you choose.

Boom bap: for punchlines and roasts

Steady drums leave room for jokes to land. Dish Captain roasts a roommate's dirty dishes and You're a Good Boy, Sure is a cat teasing a dog, both on boom bap.

Drill: for short, hard-hitting hype

Drill suits clipped lines and chant-style hooks. One More Rep opens with "Lace tight. Eyes up." and keeps every chorus line to a few words.

Trap: for celebrations and shout-outs

Trap gives a bouncy hook you can shout along to. Thirty and Flying is a trap birthday rap for a fictional friend.

Freestyle: for everyday moments

Freestyle keeps the flow loose and conversational. Monday Coffee and Across That Line, a late-night thesis grind, both started from this setting.

TOPICS THAT MAKE A GOOD RAP SONG

Small, specific moments make the funniest and most personal tracks. Ideas that work well:

  • A friendly roast of a friend's habit, like leaving dishes in the sink
  • A birthday song for someone who loves skateboarding, gaming or baking
  • A workout anthem for leg day or a morning run
  • A study or work grind before a deadline
  • A battle between two pets, told from one side

What RapCrafter will not write

No imitations of real artists, no voice cloning, no copied song lyrics, and no tracks that target a real person. Threats, hate, sexual content and other people's private information are also off limits.

AI RAP GENERATOR FAQ

Can I generate a rap song right now?

Not yet. Song generation is closed while we finish the account and credit system. The six tracks on this page are real AI-generated previews from the music model we will use. Leave your email under the generator and we will tell you when it opens. Nothing is charged.

Is the AI rap generator free, and do I need to sign up?

You will need a Google sign-in, because every song costs us money to generate. When generation opens, each registered user gets one free song with two versions to play online. Downloading an mp3 needs a paid plan.

How long is a generated rap song?

Our six full sample songs run from 1 minute 31 seconds to 3 minutes 23 seconds. Each request returns two versions of the same song, so you can keep the take you like. The previews on this page are cut to 45 seconds.

Can it make a freestyle rap?

Yes. Freestyle is one of the four beat choices next to boom bap, drill and trap. The Monday Coffee example above started from a one-line freestyle topic. The lyrics are written for you, not improvised live.

Can I use my own voice or sound like a famous rapper?

No. RapCrafter does not clone voices, accept uploads, or imitate real artists. The generator checks your topic for well-known artist names and stops before anything is generated.
